Badger tea kettle tea scoop.

Brass with fine silver rails on the edge and 'vert foncé green gold leaf applied to the inside by mercury gilding.
The design was taken from a sketch by Hokusai and is of the Bumbuku Chagama, the magical tea kettle that turns into a badger when warmed. The scoop measures 12.6cm long and a touch under 4.5cm wide.
